{"id":12435,"date":"2022-10-19T08:07:24","date_gmt":"2022-10-19T08:07:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/protect-lawyers.org\/case\/mohammad-ali-dadkhah\/"},"modified":"2025-03-24T16:10:16","modified_gmt":"2025-03-24T16:10:16","slug":"mohammad-ali-dadkhah","status":"publish","type":"listing","link":"https:\/\/protect-lawyers.org\/en\/case\/mohammad-ali-dadkhah\/","title":{"rendered":"Mohammad Ali Dadkhah"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Iran: The iranian lawyer Mohammad Ali Dadkhah has been arrested and sent to prison to serve a sentence that was handed down more than ten years ago<\/h2>\n<p><strong>1 August 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mohammad Ali Dadkhah, a prominent iranian lawyer and human rights activist, has been arrested and sent to Evin Prison to serve a sentence that was handed down more than ten years ago for allegedly trying to overthrow the ruling islamic regime.<\/p>\n<p>Mohammad Ali Dadkhah had been on parole since 2013.<\/p>\n<p>He has defended numerous political prisoners in Iran including a christian pastor sentenced to death for apostasy and is a founding member of the Defenders of Human Rights Centre (DHCR), alongside Nobel Peace Prize Winner Shirin Ebadi.
