More specifically, on 10 April 2023,\u00a0<strong>Xu Zhiyong and Ding Jiaxi were respectively sentenced to 14 years\u2019 and 12 years\u2019 imprisonment<\/strong>, following a trial behind closed doors in which the court found them guilty of \u201csubversion of State power\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chow Hang-Tung<\/strong>, a leading figure in Hong Kong\u2019s democracy movement,\u00a0<strong>has been held in prison since September 2021<\/strong>, when she was arrested and charged under the National Security Act.
